Directions: Recommended to try on a small area first, as the high mineral content does not agree with a small percentage of users. If there's irritation, rinse skin well. Apply a generous layer of Dead Sea mud over the facial or body areas of your choice. Leave on for 10-20 minutes. For dry or sensitive skin start with a thin layer for 5 minutes and work up as your skin dictates. Rinse/towel off thoroughly with lukewarm water. Do not apply to open wounds, for external use only.

The masque will last you forever, though in the highly unlikely event you haven't used it up after a year, it may dry out. You can then add water on a "per use" basis, wetting the dried mud enough to spread it and have a treatment. The majority of the minerals are still intact within the mud. The Dead Sea is a "terminal lake", a sea which has no outlet. Located in a temperate zone, large amounts of water are lost by evaporation yearly into the hot dry air resulting in very highly concentrated mineral salts. This unique mineral composition is particularly rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium, bromine, sulfur, and silica, amongst others.
